I haven’t read the book. I’ll have to look it up. I love the old horror movies where much was left to the imagination – more terrifying than gallons of fake blood and gore.

It does feel good as I move towards “shutting” down the 100% availability and getting things “back”…

I don’t like the idea of being available 24 hours a day. fortunately I don’t have many people that phone me up. Sometimes we don’t answer the phone, which shocks some people and our fixed phone isn’t set up with an answer service.

We didn’t used to have a door bell for a long time.

Rob organises the timetable at work and has put in a rota “who to contact if I’m not there”. we’ve had his collegues phoning in sick (on his iphone) at 6 in the morning and at midnight! One day I’m going to throw it out of the window.

I think that you’re doing the right thing.

We didn’t experience it here for long…

Well, basically I’m an US Army Vet, and I’m proud of the flag, so I like having one up in my front yard all the time. It just took a year almost for me to acquire one again and get it up!! It’s up all the time now!!

It did twice, but I kept this one to let you know I got it.

I’m not amazed by the snow, just happy to see it, as it helps our water table here. Especially if we get a lot and it slowly melts over time.

With rain, it all washes off and goes down river, and down south gets the summer water tables, and we go dry.

If it is of enough snow, all here and down river get it!

Besides, I have to go back to work next Tuesday, and it was supposed to snow the whole time I was on sick leave for the knee so I didn’t have to worry about it when I started driving again. Of course it waited until I was driving to snow. (Wish it was more though for the water tables!!)

It amazes me that people are excited about snow. But then it hasn’t snowed where i live since 1960.

Nah, it was melted by noon (for the most part) and got up to 68F today totally making it go away.

Yep, May 2nd will be one full year here!!
